Australia's largest citizenship ceremony had nothing to do with the lockdown, but same might not possible in near future?

The City of Canterbury Bankstown will welcome 2,021 new citizens on Wednesday, in the largest citizenship ceremony the country* has ever seen.

Australia's largest citizenship ceremony had nothing to do with the spread of the Delta variant, but just in weeks how the entire city went into lockdown. NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian says people who live or work in City of Sydney, Woollahra, Randwick and Waverley local government areas must stay at home for at least a week.
