Queer Twitter users, particularly those attracted to women, have been sent into a tizz by a new video depicting actress Kathryn Hahn staring lovingly at The Favourite star Rachel Weisz.
Edited to the musical score of lesbian film Carol by Twitter user Tahani Aljamil, the video shows a compilation of moments taken from a round-table discussion filmed during Oscars season this year - highlighting the apparent deep affection with which Hahn regards Weisz.
Highlighting several heart-racing moments, like when Hahn stares longingly at Weisz's lips as she speaks, or places a hand firmly on the back of Weisz's chair, the loved-up clip has now been viewed close to one million times, which is notably more than Vanity Fair's original hour-long video.
"Nearly audibly gasped when she first put her hand on the Rachel’s chair," one twitter user replied.
"I'm just a little bit gayer having watched this," wrote another.
"I feel like I'm intruding on a first date," one person joked.
"Just gonna finish my appetiser and pretend I have a headache."
The original panel discussion, which touched on subjects including the #MeToo movement and being a woman in Hollywood, also included contributions from actresses Lady Gaga and Glenn Close, each of whom appear relegated to the peripheral in Hahn and Weisz's love story.
