Chris Evans has given fans an insight into the close relationship he shares with his brother, Scott Evans, with the pair appearing together on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The two actors - whose mother was seated in the audience - were there to participate in a show segment called 'Know Your Bro', which saw the brothers take it in turns to wear noise cancelling headphones while the other was questioned.
Fallon would then reveal whether they had given matching answers.
The first question was asked to Chris: 'What would your brother be doing if he wasn't an actor?'
Both brothers gave the same answer: "Homicide detective."
Scott was then asked: “What is something Chris did growing up that your parents still don’t know about?”
Scott recalled a time growing up when Chris had pushed him into a coffee table, splitting his head open so badly that he needed stitches.
“I was like, ‘Blooooood!’ and Chris was like, ‘Please don’t tell.’ I just said that I fell, and I got stitches."
He then addressed his mother in the audience. "Mum, he pushed me!”
The lesser-known Evans brother, who is openly gay, is best recognised for playing the role of Oliver Fish on the ABC daytime soap opera One Life to Live, and currently stars on Grace & Frankie.
Chris Evans has been a vocal supporter of LGBTIQ+ people over the years, most recently using his social media platform to .
"Wow, cool initiative fellas," he tweeted at the group behind the parade, called Super Fun Happy America.
"Just a thought, instead of ‘Straight Pride’ parade, how about this: The ‘desperately trying to bury our own gay thoughts by being homophobic because no one taught us how to access our emotions as children’ parade?"
He added: "Whattaya think? Too on the nose??"
