The Turnbull government is cracking down on dodgy family day care providers by introducing new compliance measures.
The integrity measures are aimed at stopping $250 million being paid to providers who rort the system, Education Minister Simon Birmingham said on Monday.
The changes to be tabled in parliament will set new maximum rates and age limits for children accessing child care fee assistance in family day care services from March 13.
