Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz's Twitter handle has tweeted another couplet with hashtag #votekoizzat do (respect the vote).

The former prime minister of Pakistan’s daughter had been convicted in the Avenfield properties reference and is serving seven years behind bars.

She was arrested upon arrival in Lahore on 13th July, along with her father, Nawaz Sharif,  and was later taken to the Central Jail in Adiala, Rawalpindi.

Earlier, the first tweet came from Maryam Nawaz's official Twitter handle causing a media frenzy.
The message was issued from Maryam's official Twitter handle, which read a couplet of Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz.

English translation of couplet:

"The grandeur with which someone goes to the gallows is remembered for a long time after,

This life is fleeting,

If it is a contest of devotion,

Then don’t fear and give it everything,

It will be great if you win/ but the battle is not lost even if you lose"

People were curious as to how she was able to tweet while being in jail and if the authorities have allowed the former first daughter to use the internet.
According to a local media outlet, the Twitter account is now being handled by the PML-N’s social media team and the tweet was not posted by Maryam from the central jail.

Another media outlet , said the account is now being used by her son Junaid Safdar, who is tweeting on behalf of her mother.
