Pakistan and Australia will play three T20s and two test matches in the upcoming series in November and December.
Talking to SBS Urdu Australia’s T20 and the one-day captain said that the matches against Pakistan will help them understand the leading team in the world for the next year’s T20 World Cup.
“They are obviously world number one at the moment, so having the ability to play games in the lead up against them will be really important to see how they are setting up.
“What is the structure they are going with their team [playing against Australia]?”
Aaron said that Pakistan's squad consists of world-class players and Pakistan's Cricket Team T20 Captain Babar Azam is probably playing the best cricket of his life.

"They got world-class players, Babar Azam is in the form of his life, probably not his life, but he is enjoying the day in and day out. He is such an important player to them.
"They have guys who can swing the ball and a lot of left-arm options and some great spinners too.
"They come with a huge threat that, you know, on their day they are as good as anyone else in the world."

- 2nd T20 match – 5th November (Tuesday) – Canberra
- 3rd T20 match – 8th November (Friday) – Perth
- 1st Test match - 21st Nov - 25th Nov (Thursday - Monday) - Brisbane
- 2nd Test match - 29th Nov - 3rd Dec (Friday - Tuesday) - Adelaide
The Green Shirts will also play a practice T20 match against Cricket Australia XI on 31st October at Bankstown Oval in Sydney and a 3-day practice match from 11th November to 13th November at Perth Stadium in Perth.
Less than a year to go for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia
Australia is gearing up for the next ICC T20 World Cup to be played down under. The Women’s T20 World Cup will be played during February-March next year while the Men’s World Cup is scheduled for October and November.
ICC T20 Cricket World Cup CEO Nick Hockley told SBS Urdu that the preparations are certainly picking up with the first match between Pakistan and Australia to be played on the 24th October 2020.
“Pakistan is currently ranked the number one side in the world in T20 cricket. Australia has never hosted the T20 WorldCup and the Australian men’s team has never won the cup, so there is going to be a huge amount of expectation.
"We expect it [Pakistan vs Australia match] to be a brilliant start to the tournament."
Nick said that the T20 format is growing up around the world and is getting popular in the youngsters.
“It is relatively young but is certainly coming of age and is gaining in popularity all around the world.
“So we are certainly taking the learnings from Cricket World Cup in 2015 that was co-hosted between Australia and New Zealand, and take T20 to the next level."
In terms of promoting women's’ cricket in Australia, Nick said that real growth is being witnessed and more people are participating in the sport.
“The standard of cricket is rising. I think the popularity is growing from strength to strength.
"I, myself have got two little girls, 7 and 3, and being able to take them to watch men’s and women’s cricket, it sends a really strong message.
“Sport is a great unifier, it is a great opportunity for people to come and celebrate their country of origin and heritage and equally it is a great opportunity for all of us to learn more about each other’s cultures."
