Latest Thai movie reflecting on Thailand’s hidden history

Anocha Suwichakornpong, the film director By the Time it Gets Dark, told the stories of the Octorber 6th 1976 massacre at Thammasat University, through mundane lives of four ordinary people. The film has been released amid Thailands intense political climate when the Thai government is imposing serious restrictions of any political criticism.
