Did you know the Sinhalese language community in Australia has grown during the past five years?
The number of people who speak Sinhalese at home has increased by around 34% since the last Census in 2011.
As a result, SBS will be investing further in the Sinhalese language.
We will continue to have 4 radio programs each week and more funding will be allocated to our digital services.
Aged 20-54 is seeking news and information at their fingertips.
The extra service will mean more audio and online content when and where you want it, on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
The changes will be implemented at the end of November.
