Jetstar Airways, an Australian low-cost airline will operate flights to Sri Lanka soon, said High Commissioner for Australia in Sri Lanka & Maldives, David Holly.
Holly said that the Melbourne - Colombo direct flight operated by Sri Lankan Airline is very popular among Australia, Daily News reported.
Moreover, over 4,000 tourists had arrived from Australia to Sri Lanka mostly by air during June this year.
