Victorians are being warned to take care ahead of an extreme heat forecast on tomorrow (06/01), with parts of the state set to soar over 40 Celsius degrees.
The Chief Health Officer has issued a health alert, as the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts Melbourne will reach a top of 41.
According to the SBS News, Geelong, Bendigo, Shepparton, Swan Hill, and Mildura are also expected to face temperatures over 40.
Moreover, Adelaide and Western Sydney will also reach 40 Celsius tomorrow and Bureau of Meteorology warned bushfire may occur in Eastern and Southern Australia due to the extreme hot weather.
According to the www.mydr.com.au, during this kind of hot weather you may face dehydration and this will leads to several health issues.

- Drink plenty of water even if you don’t feel thirsty.
- Avoid the sun in the middle of the day.
- Do your exercise early in the morning or late evening.
- Do your outdoor activities early in the morning or late afternoon.
- Apply recommended sunscreen to avoid sun burnings.
- Try to wear light colour cotton loose clothes which provide good airflow.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Eat vegetables and fruits and avoid fat meats.
- Keep your house cool.
- Plan your work accordingly.
