Katrina Ward confirmed the people who have tested positive were self-isolating in their homes and the community has received mobile homes to increase quarantine capacity.
One week and half following the Walgett Brewarrina Covid 19 outbreak, at least 79% percent of the population have had their 1st dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and 50% have been double-vaccinated.
The local infections are linked to two major events:
- People who came from other areas to attended a funeral
- Contractors out of Sydney
