With regards to Mildura, Premier Dan Andrews has said that there’s no current plan to lift the area’s lockdown ahead of the statewide lockdown lift scheduled for 11.59pm this Thursday night. He did however express confidence in seeing the lowering and stabilisation of case numbers down in the single digits.
A range of freedoms will be available statewide after midnight on Thursday when Victoria’s expected to reach 70% full-vaccination. These include 10 visitors in the home, outdoor gatherings of up to 15 people, the return of community sport, weddings and funerals with up to 20 guests indoors or 50 guests outdoors, students back at school at least part-time, and hair-dressing and personal care services will be reopened at a limited capacity.
