Premier Dan Andrews announced a significant easing of COVID restrictions set to take effect at 11.59pm tonight. These include no limits on the number of visitors in a home or outdoor public place regardless of vaccination status.
For the fully-vaccinated, capacity and density limits have been removed for most activities, such as restaurants, pubs, clubs, cinemas, events, tourism venues, retail venues, weddings, funerals and gyms.
However there are still limits in place for the fully-vaccinated in high risk settings settings such as care facilities and hospitals.
