World leaders have paid tributes to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as they were sworn in as the 46th President and Vice President of the United States.
Leaders, citizens and former officials offered their congratulations and expressed hope for a new era in relations between the US and other countries।
Prime Minister Scott Morrison tweeted his congratulations to Mr Biden and Ms Harris saying he looked forward to working with their new administration.
"Congratulations to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on your inauguration," he said.
"The Australia-US Alliance has never been more important. I wish you both every success for your time in office and look forward to working closely with your new administration."
