The late Lino Vella AM inducted into the Multicultural Honour Roll

The late Mr Lino Vella AM was inducted into the Multicultural honour roll at the Premier’s Harmony Dinner on Thursday 14 March – where his son Paul Vella accepted the medal on behalf of the family. Under Lino’s leadership, The Maltese Herald fought for the rights of Maltese migrants on issues such as dual citizenship and promoted many community organisations and activities, including the Maltese Community Council and the Maltese Welfare Group, of which he was a founding member.
