Geelong Korea looks completely different with last year and ended 1st round of 2019/20 ABL season with three wins.

Two-time winner of baseball’s World Series, Graeme Lloyd, looks to reverse the fortunes of Australian Baseball League (ABL) team Geelong-Korea, who embarked on their second season in the country’s top-flight competition.

Graeme Lloyd expected to make the playoffs this season.

“It’s always exciting to find new players and coach new players and especially this team is very exciting. There’s a good bunch of young man that are playing very well and hopefully will show you how well in this series.” He said.

“This year, you know, I expect a lot from these guys I do I hopefully will make the playoffs and you never know once you’ve made the playoffs but I expect a winner in our fair share of games and I hope they do very well”
In order to improve on last season, where players were sourced from various leagues, the team has instead sourced players from five professional Korean baseball teams.

Korea Baseball Organization heavyweights Lotte Giants, Kiwoom Heroes and LG Twins Hanwha Eagles and SK Wyverns have sent players to Geelong-Korea for the upcoming season.
