〈Christmas in August〉 directed by Heo Jin-ho in 1998 is a story about people we can see around everyday and its place is also so familiar to us that we hardly feel any peculiarity. Nevertheless the movie conjures up illusions of warmth and beauty that have never been experienced in any melodrama.
