Prime Minister Scott Morrison and South Korea President Moon Jae-in held a summit meeting in New York and the leaders agreed to expand cooperation in the education, investment, infra-structure, renewable energy sector, according to Cheong Wa Dae.

“The friendship between the two nations have led to active economic exchange and human exchange, and advanced into a relationship of cooperation in energy resources and infrastructure,” Moon Jae-in was quoted as saying by Cheong Wa Dae spokesperson Ko Min-jung.

“I hope to expand the scope of cooperation to widen into defense, hydrogen economy, mineral ores in the future, so that move toward a true partnership”
