PM Scott Morrison's 2020 Lunar New Year message to Korean community

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says that we are fortunate to live in a land of acceptance and encouragement, where respect for different cultural traditions is part of our national story in his 2020 LNY message.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison delivered his message to the local Korean community and "wish everyone a prosperous and auspicious Seollal.”

He thanks the Korean Australian community for their commitment to our diverse and peaceful nation, and for their hard work and contributions over many generations.

The Prime minister says “In Australia, we are fortunate to live in a land of acceptance and encouragement, where respect for different cultural traditions is part of our national story.”

“Celebration of the Lunar New Year goes to the heart of our nation’s multicultural character, and the diversity that gives us strength.” He says.

“To all those welcoming the Year of the Rat I wish you well in this moment of celebration.”
