NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian congratulated Koreans on Korea's National Foundation Day.
“Thank you to consul general Hong for inviting me to say a few words in commemoration of Korean foundation day” She said “We know how important this occasion is whilst we will be celebrating it in a different way this year”
“Please know how deeply grateful we are for all of you for taking our health advice for keeping the virus under control of NSW for working with us” She stressed
“Congratulations and let’s hope that 2021 brings different opportunities for a celebration in the traditional way but in the meantime happy foundation Korean day”
The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney said that they deeply appreciate her ongoing efforts in supporting the Korean community in NSW, as well as her long running presence at Korean community events.
“We look forward to continuing our close work with the NSW Government in supporting the Korean community.”
