French soprano Veronica Antonelli has been hit by COVID-19 and she is now recovering. Doctors told her that a full recovery could take months, if not years.


"I thought I was going to die", says the singer who is now encouraging people to fight COVID-19 and the lockdown by singing patriotic hymns from the balcony of her apartment in Paris.

In this conversation, Veronica talks about the most difficult moments of her illness and her slow recovery. She says that Chinese traditional medicine has helped her to regain her taste and sense of smell.
