In the United States, although the number of hospitalizations for coronavirus has decreased in the past few hours, yesterday (9/04/2020) New York recorded the highest number of deaths since the start of the pandemic.
Governor Cuomo compared the crisis to 9/11, the "moment in American history that changed everything". But, while the attack to the twin towers took 3,000 Americans lives, coronavirus has so far caused 3,485 deaths in New York.
However, the crisis did not stop the race at the White House, with important changes that Giampiero Gramaglia tells on SBS Italian, including the stand down of Senator Bernie Sanders and the confirmation that Joe Biden will be Donald Trump's opponent at the next presidential elections in November.
