The daily life conditions imposed by the lockdown can create the "ideal situation" to trigger domestic violence.


There are currently no reliable data on domestic violence situation since the pandemic is still going on, but Google is seeing an increase of 75 per cent for domestic violence help, the highest magnitude of searches that they have seen in the past five years, and some services are already reporting an increase in demand.
