The Australian government has launched COVIDSafe, a smartphone application that can track citizens' movements and inform them if they have come into contact with coronavirus-positive subjects.
Most politicians have reacted favourably to the app - which has already downloaded by over two million Australians - but its use has raised doubts among some citizens, both in terms of safety and effectiveness.
Australians must stay at least 1.5 meters away from each other and meetings should be limited to two people, unless you are with a member of your family or home.
