The Big Apple closes its doors to commercial activities and non-essential services.


Over the past twenty-four hours in the US, COVID-19 infections have exceeded 60,000 cases, about 7,000 more than yesterday (3/25/2020).

Meanwhile, the Republican majority in the Senate has announced that it has reached an agreement with the Democrats and the White House on a "historic" $ 2 trillion plan to revive the world's first economy, hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

The plan "will not work for New York," said Governor Andrew Cuomo: "We need more money."

The governors of California, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Illinois have ordered everyone to stay home and block non-essential activities. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered workers to stay home, except for groceries and pharmacies.
