Coronavirus in Mexico: few tests, many cases

In Mexico, infections and the death toll continue to rise, also due to contradictory messages from the authorities and a health system that is not adequate to face the pandemic.


The North American country - which has a long and "problematic" northern border with the United States - has almost 130 million inhabitants and, despite having one of the most developed economies in Latin America, still suffers from serious problems related to social inequality, crime and corruption. We talked about it with Mexico City-based journalist, Laura Daverio.
