Giulia Guarnieri presented her paper 'Spoken identity: conversational analysis of Ellis Island’s Italian American Immigrants' at the Diaspore Italiane conference in New York.


Professor Giulia Guarnieri, from Bronx Community College, has analysed the recordings of interviews with Italian immigrants in the United States from a linguistic point of view.
