Unity in the time of COVID-19. How can the talented people of the Indonesian diaspora help Indonesia realise its potential?

Many Indonesians live away from Indonesia. There are many Indonesians who want to contribute to the Indonesian dream especially post COVID-19. What has been done to harness the spirit and talent of these people?


Recently (14 August) the Congress of the Indonesian Diaspora 6 was held.  Demographer Dr Salut Muhidin is a senior lecturer at Macquarie University and one of moderators at the congress.  He explains to Sri Dean the responses in congress sessions of to several special areas of interest like migrant workers and technology.  He describes several important areas in which Indonesia is opening up opportunities for the diaspora.
