A new artwork will be launched at Fox’s Lane in Ashfield on 23 April 2022. The work “There Will Always be a Light on For You” is an installation comprising hand crafted lanterns that will bring light that welcomes all. The launch is part of an event that will also celebrate the premiere of the “ My Plate, Your Plate” cart. Why is the event an important part of building collaboration and understanding in the community?

Along with Alessandro Berini and Selina Springett, Indonesian artist Jayanto Tan is one of three artists who were commissioned to work together to create the art work.  He will also conduct a creative workshop at the launch.  Jayanto Tan explains to Sri Dean how the art work was conceived and realised and what people can expect to enjoy at Fox’s Lane between 5pm and 7pm on Saturday.
