One of the great jazz pianists in Australia is ade ishs. Unity in Diversity is not only the Indonesian motto, but also an anthem composed by ade ishs to celebrate global multiculturalism. Nonetheless, the tune really resonated with Indonesian Independence Day celebrations.


Against the backdrop of the song Unity in Diversity, PhD candidate, Nita Novianti from Launceston, Amalia Sosrodiredjo, the chairperson of the South Australian branch of the Australia-Indonesia Business Council, and composer ade ishs (Dr Iman Suyoto), exchange their diverse experiences of celebrating this year’s 75th anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day.
