A number of Indonesians and their families live in Cairns, in far north Queensland. The Cairns Indonesia Australia Association (CIAA) aims to help them maintain their love for Indonesia and to pass it on to future generations.


Liana Hitchcock is President of the Cairns Indonesia Australia Association.  She describes the organisation’s activities and explains how CIAA keeps the Indonesian spirit of ‘gotong-royong’ alive.
