How to use telehealth?

Australians are relying more on telehealth during coronavirus crisis. Statistics from Services Australia show that number of people use telehealth has been increased from over 1 million in March to close to 6 million in April. But if you want to access this services, it is better to get prepared.

People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others and gatherings are limited to two people unless you are with your family or household.

Currently, there are COVID-19 clinics available across Australia for anyone to test if you are infected with the coronavirus. If you believe you may have contracted the virus, call your doctor (don’t visit) or contact the national Coronavirus Health Information Hotline on 1800 020 080. If you are struggling to breathe or experiencing a medical emergency, call 000.

If you need interpretation, call the national Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450 and ask to connect to your preferred service.
