A latest report by Bloomberg has revealed world’s best and worst performing airlines od 2016.
Based on the data collected every year by an aviation insights company, FlightStats, has put together a list of top 10 best performing international airlines and also the worst performing international airlines.
The list was compiled after analysing data on different parameters.
Vice president of aviation and distribution at FlightStats, Jim Hetzel told , “We stitch data together from 500 different sources.”
Among those sources are flight-tracking and positional services, airport runway times, radar services, airline records and airport data.
“We’ve built the technology and logic to sort that out and validate information across multiple sources. It’s a pretty interesting process,” he said.
While KLM, flag carrier airline of the Netherlands made it to the top of the list of best airlines, Israel’s EL AI made it to the top of the list of worst international airline.
