Melbourne resident, Kamaljeet (surname not yet known) woke up on Monday morning to find her Audi car stolen from her Thomastown home.
It’s believed offenders broke into the Clarke Street house sometime overnight and took keys for two vehicles.
When the occupants awoke just before 6.30am, they realised one of their vehicles had been stolen and called police.
The offenders then returned to the property about 8am, possibly in an attempt to take the second vehicle, however they left empty handed.
Police are currently searching for the stolen silver 2009 Audi sedan with registration MNJOT and it has been seen a number of times this morning in the Thomastown area.
It’s believed a woman and a man are currently travelling in the vehicle.
