Ever wondered which jobs in Australia pay the highest salaries?

The data reveals which occupations are on the top of the ladder and which are on the bottom.

The data reveals that male neurosurgeons have the highest salary in the country, taking home a whopping $577,674 a year.

However female neurosurgeons take home $323,682 a year, almost 44 less compared to their male counterparts.

The highest paid job for a woman was that of a Judge who is paid $355,844 a year, just a few thousands more than a female neurosurgeon.

The entire list points out glaring difference between male and female wages.

Some of the highest paying jobs are those who work as doctors and medical specialist, investment bankers, mining engineers and CEOs.

The lowest earning jobs are mostly those requiring no-specific qualifications like that of fruit pickers, newspaper delivery persons, fast food cooks, dishwashers and restaurant helpers.
