International students 'feel like scapegoats' as Coalition blocks Labor's caps

The government has lost support for its proposed legislation to impose caps on foreign student numbers at Australian universities. Although the opposition has previously supported caps on student numbers, it has now announced it will not support the bill, facing criticism for delaying measures aimed at reducing immigration.
