South Australia has resumed accepting state nomination applications for Subclass 188/132 visas.
Immigration South Australia (SA) last week announced it had re-opened the application system for 188/132 State nomination applications from 7th June 2018.
“Once open, there will be a limited number of places available. Application availability is confirmed at time of submission (if you are asked for a payment it means you have secured a processing place),” its website says.
“To recognise the commitment to South Australian being shown by prospective State nominated applicants, only applicants who have previously visited South Australia will be able to apply for State nomination.
“Evidence of this will need to be provided in the State nomination application. This is effective for applications submitted from 3pm on 7th June 2018 onwards,” it read.
Subclass 188 is which allows the person to own and manage a business in Australia (the Business Innovation stream), conduct business and investment activity in Australia (the Investor stream, the Significant Investor stream and the Premium Investor stream) or undertake an entrepreneurial activity in Australia (Entrepreneur stream).
Subclass 132 is which allows the person to establish a new or develop an existing business in Australia. It has two streams: Significant Business History stream: for high-calibre business owners or part-owners who want to do business in Australia and Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream: for people who have sourced venture capital funding from a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL).
Those who miss out during this round of applications have been assured there will be more places available from early July when the new program year commences.
