The state has removed some occupations such as Cook and Motor Mechanic from its SOL.
Other occupations removed are Management Accountant and External Auditor.

The state had published an updated skills list earlier this month, just before its skilled independent visa program re-opened.

The updated list had included the accountants as an occupation which was “a bit of relief” for many.
“Visa hopefuls for these occupations had nearly lost hope in the last one year,” migration agent Chaman Preet told SBS Hindi.
The SA skilled visa program is currently unavailable to applicants applying from offshore and other Australian states and territories, but “cases may be considered in exceptional circumstances,” Migration SA states on its website.
