Two men have copped a heavy fine and have got double demerit points after being caught in a bizarre condition in Sydney on Monday.
A Toyota Camry driver was stopped for a breath test on Richmond Road in Quakers Hill on Monday afternoon by the Quakers Hill Highway Patrol when the police found a man lying behind a big wooden cabinet on the rear seat.
“The passenger was holding the seat belt against his hip to conceal the fact that it wasn’t clipped in,” the NSW Traffic and Highway Patrol Command .
The passenger replied, ‘I am sick. Sorry for that one.’
The NSW Police heavily fined the duo and issued them double demerit points, owing to the Easter long weekend .
