A tweet by China's foreign ministry spokesman Lijan Zhao has provoked an outcry from the Australian government, with Scott Morrison demanding that the Chinese Government apologises.

Mr Lijan tweeted a fake image of an Australian soldier threatening a child.
''The Chinese government should be totally ashamed for this post,'' said Mr Morrison.
