Alert for two Greek Orthodox churches in Wollongong being possibly exposed to coronavirus

NSW Health authorities have advised people who visited two Greek-Orthodox churches in Wollongong to self-isolate immediately and wait for further instructions.

The two churches are among several new venues around Wollongong that have been added to a list of locations visited by someone who has coronavirus, according to media reports.

The two churches are, St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church on Atchison Street  and The Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church on Stewart Street.

Anyone who attended these churches in Wollongong on Sunday, December 27 (St Nektarios between 9am and 10.15am and/or The Holy Cross between 10.30am and 11am) is advised to undergo testing and self-isolate immediately.

They should stay in isolation until NSW Health contacts them with further information.
