Sinabi ni Dallas Burnes, ang Pangunahing Superintendent ng NSW State Emergency Services o SES, na ang paglilinis ng estado ay magiging "mahalaga".
"We have seen the highest peak and we’re now following that water downstream and making sure we warn the communities in its path," sinabi nito sa Weekend Today ng Channel Nine.
Ang masamang panahon ay nagdulot ng mga landslides, flash flooding, at pagkalubog sa baha ng mga kabahayan, kung saan aabot sa 200 rescue ang isinagawa ng mga emergency service workers.
