The owner of Rey's Place in Darlinghurst, Sydney may have done the right formula in showing the early success of his restaurant just nearly two months in operation. But it is chef Shaun Oligo, who is really not just behind the kitchen, by behind the taste and character of the new restaurant.

He has been putting everything into the restaurant he had discovered about homecooking growing up in his hometown Cabanatuan many years ago and spiced up by some modern knowledge and techniques he learned from a culinary certificate and experience in Australia .
