NSW has recorded 170 new local cases, with at least 42 of those infections while in the community.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian is urging people to limit contact with other households as the virus continues to spread in households and workplaces.
Police Commissioner Mick Fuller warns people against attending anti-lockdown protests over the weekend saying, “protesters will be met with a thousand officers”.
Also, 300 soldiers will be on the ground from Monday to ensure people are staying home and not mixing with extended families during the lockdown.
