'Sea bugs' eat through Melbourne teen's skin during beach visit

A Melbourne teenager has gone for a dip at the beach and come out covered in blood and looking like a horror movie extra.

16岁的Sam Kanizay踢球后感到脚酸,于是来到位于Brighton的Dendy Street海滩将双腿浸入海水中。

半小时后,他从水里走出来时描述自己腿上有沙子,又走回到海里。但是当他去穿鞋时,发现双腿满是鲜血。

他的爸爸称一些微小的海洋生物“噬咬”他的腿,“他们噬穿Sam的皮肤,造成大量流血”。

由于出血不止,他们前往医院治疗,但是医护人员都不能解释发生了什么。

“没人知道那种生物是什么。他们叫了好几个人,不论是解毒专家还是海洋专家,以及墨尔本附近其他的医疗人员……没人知道怎么回事。”

第二天晚上,Kanizay先生拿了一网子肉来到同一个海滩,捕捉了他认为造成流血的生物。

“很清楚,这些微小的东西真的爱吃肉”,他在一个视频中显示,水中的一些虫子在噬食大块的肉。
