Australia's millennials are the most likely to quit their jobs according to a new study, but how do they compare to their global counterparts?

AUSTRALIA'S MILLENNIALS AT A GLANCE:

* 58 per cent plan to quit work within the next two years

* Just eight per cent believe they will be better off than their parent's generation and four per cent say they'll be happier

* 76 per cent prefer full-time work to freelance or contract work

* 22 per cent expect social and political improvements in the next 12 months

* 30 per cent rank terrorism as their top concern

AND THE POST-1982 GENERATION ELSEWHERE AROUND THE WORLD:

* 38 per cent plan to quit work within the next two years

* 26 per cent believe they will be better off than their parent's generation and 23 per cent say they'll be happier

* 65 per cent prefer full-time work to freelance or contract work

* 36 per cent expect social and political improvements in the next 12 months

* 56 per cent of those in developed economies said war, terrorism and political tension were their top concerns
