South Australian Opposition Leader Steven Marshall is under pressure over a possible 1.2 million dollar donation by a Chinese businesswoman.
Sally Zou posted a photo to Twitter of a cheque made out to the South Australian Liberal Party last week.
It's been confirmed that Ms Zou has previously donated to the Liberal Party, and that Mr Marshall has hosted her at his house.
Mr Marshall says that the party has not received the 1.2 million dollar cheque in question, and has correctly reported all previous donations by Ms Zou.
But South Australian Treasuer Tom Koutsantonis says people deserve to know what impact, if any, Ms Zou is having on Liberal Party policy with her donations.
